  18.      Sudden weakness, paralysis, or numbness of the face, arm or leg on one
  19. side of the body
  20.  
  21.      The corner of the mouth may droop
  22.  
  23.      Loss or slurring of speech
  24.  
  25.      Sudden headache
  26.  
  27.      Possible confusion or unconsciousness
  28.  
  29.      Sudden fall
  30.  
  31.      Impaired vision
  32.  
  33.      Strong, slow pulse
  34.  
  35.      Pupils of the eyes may differ in size
  36.  
  37.      Difficulty breathing, chewing, talking
  38.  
  39.      Loss of bladder and/or bowel control

  42. Immediate Treatment:

  44.   1. Call for emergency medical services.
  45.  
  46.   2. Check and maintain an open airway, restore breathing and circulation
  47.  
  48.   3. Place the victim on his weak side so secretions can drain from his mouth.

  50.   4. Keep the victim warm, quiet and calm.

  52.   5. Apply cold cloths to the head.

  54.   6. Do not give any food or fluids.
